Salas Abax
Purpose of Salas Abax: to organize Grupo Abax's meeting-room
availability and bookings in one shared calendar, identify the person responsible
for each booking, and prevent the same room from being booked by multiple people
during overlapping time periods.
Salas Abax allows authenticated users to check room availability, create, edit and
cancel their own meetings, and filter the calendar by room or person. Administrators
can manage users, rooms and all bookings. Google Calendar connection is optional and
is used only to copy the user's Salas Abax booking events to their selected calendar.

Purpose and functionality of Salas Abax
Salas Abax is an internal meeting-room management system developed for Grupo Abax.
Its primary function is to replace manual room coordination with a centralized,
readable calendar available on computers, tablets and mobile phones.
Standard user workflow
- Sign in with the account assigned by Grupo Abax.
- Review the calendar and filter bookings by room or person.
- Select an available room, date, start time and end time.
- Create a booking under their own name with a title and optional notes.
- Edit or delete only the meetings that belong to them.
Booking rules and administration
- The system rejects overlapping bookings for the same room.
- Standard users cannot create meetings on behalf of another person.
- Administrators manage users, rooms and organization-wide bookings.
- Rooms and users can be activated, edited or deleted with confirmation.
- Duration is calculated from the selected start and end times.
Availability
Users see which rooms and time slots are available in a shared calendar.
Bookings
Each booking contains a title, room, owner, date, start and end times, and optional notes.
Conflict prevention
The same room cannot be booked by more than one person during overlapping times.
Personal control
Each standard user creates, edits and deletes only their own bookings.
Administration
Administrators manage users, rooms and bookings across the organization.
Calendar filters
Bookings can be located by room or person for faster calendar reading.
Reason for requesting Google access
Why Salas Abax requests Google user data
Every room-booking feature works without connecting Google. Salas Abax requests
OAuth authorization only when a user voluntarily enables Google Calendar
synchronization.
Identity and email address
The openid and email permissions identify the selected
Google Account and display its email address on the Integrations page.
Calendar events
The calendar.events.owned permission creates an event in the
primary calendar with the booking title, room, location, date, times and notes.
It updates that event when the booking changes and deletes it when canceled.
Required storage
Salas Abax stores the encrypted refresh token and the created event identifier
to keep the event synchronized. Users can revoke access from Integrations or
from their Google Account.
Limited use
Salas Abax does not import, list or analyze unrelated calendar events. It does
not sell Google data, display advertising, create commercial profiles or use
Google user data to train artificial intelligence systems.

Privacy and user control
Google connection is optional
Each user decides whether to connect a Google Account. Salas Abax uses that
authorization only to synchronize events generated from that user's bookings.
